Über mich
I'm Marc Fleddermann, a multi-disciplinary creative from Germany, currently working as some kind of all-round Motion-Media-Programming professional at Capt'n Capture in Flensburg, where I design and create all sorts of media from print designs to interactive experiences.
I started as a camera operator and cutter in 2016 after my Bachelors Degree in Media Informatics & Film, then slowly shifted towards (Motion) Design. Today my work also includes data-organisation and project management.
On the side I always pursued programming as a hobby and with the possibilities of AI (interactive) Web Development and Design is becoming a larger part of my day-to-day work, while never losing sight of the human element in creation.
I also like to think about and solve workflow-related problems. Either by changing and optimising processes or by developing my own tools to address a pain point.
You'll find me in the sweet spot between the structured IT brain and the messy creative mind. I love losing myself while working with my hands, but I equally love the fascinating possibilities of AI. There's always unresolved conflict in my interests, but I have come to terms with it. It often leads to new perspectives.
I enjoy watching good movies & shows, gaming, woodworking, reading science-fiction, chess and dabbling with my piano (I wouldn't call it "playing", yet).
What I don't enjoy: Coffee. I don't hate it, but I strongly dislike it.
I believe in honesty, respect, family, Open Source, digital independence, appreciation of the little things & positivity in all areas of life.
Keep creating.
